Udo Reinach Award of Distinction: Janet Castricum & The Santa-Donato Family
The Udo Reinach Award of Distinction is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding service and support of the Fund in the form of time, impact, and contributions. Their named scholarship—the first in the program— transitioned to an endowed program so that it can be awarded in perpetuity to a scholar who has the highest need and/or has shown an ability to overcome obstacles in life. The family raises funds for the scholarship through their annual family golf outing. In 2023, the family provided the largest single donation to a "special scholarship". The Santa-Donato family raises funds for the scholarship through their annual family golf outing, which also honors the legacy of Frank Santa-Donato, Class of '70.
