ELMSFORD, N.Y. - The MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund held its annual kick-off meeting at Wykagyl Country Club on Thursday.
The event began with a round of golf in the afternoon, in which eleven people participated. Once that wrapped up, everyone convened in the clubhouse.

The meeting itself began with MGACSF President Jim Martell providing an overview of goals for 2026. Treasurer Jeff Stein followed with a financial report before turning it over to Committee Chair John Connor for the latest on the investment side. Then, fellow Committee Chair Lee Paton updated everyone on the Endowed Scholarship.
Following that, Manager of Scholarship Administration Hillary Barrueco presented a Scholarship report before giving way to Committee Chair Deuayne Crawford, who shared the current Alumni Committee report.
Melissa Rimpici Caddie Scholarship Funds Manager, handled the next few items on the agenda including an update on Caddie programs, the 2025 fundraising efforts as well as 2026 initiatives and sponsorships.
The final portion of the night was presenting the yearly MGACSF awards to clubs and individuals, honoring contributions from the past year.
