PURCHASE, N.Y. (August 25, 2026) – Century Country Club hosted the 45th MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund Pro-Am Sponsored by Continental Properties on Tuesday. The event was rescheduled from its original June date due to weather, which was anything but a problem this time around.

Two waves of shotgun groups took to the course to raise money for The Fund, with the first teeing off at 8 a.m. followed by the 1 p.m. crowd.

In the morning group, Nick Maselli, Ben Kirschenbaum, Charles Calman, and Andrew Feldman finished atop the leaderboard in low gross scoring at 7-under. Meanwhile, Rory Chase, Tim Malone, Ed Malone, and Andrew Buscetto won low net honors at 9-under. Bill Thode won the long-drive competition while Mary Anne Kelly was closest to the pin on the 13th hole, coming within a foot and a half of the pin.

In the afternoon, Alex Beach, David Sachs, Andrew Greenspan, and Gerry Ritterman combined to shoot 6-under in the low gross competition and 12-under in the low net competition to win honors in both categories. Sam Pieniadz came away a winner in the long-drive competition and Jim Carey landed his tee shot on the 13th just outside of two feet to win the closest to the pin competition.

Century is no stranger to hosting the Pro-Am. It was the club's sixth time doing so in the last 26 years.

"Kudos to the superintendent and the members for allowing us to come out and play," said Caddie Scholar alum and Century Assistant Pro, Chris Paulino to the afternoon group at the post-round reception. "I know you guys absolutely loved the golf course today."

"This is a really important day," MGACSF board member Mark Sulam said after the round. "We want people to understand what the MGA does and how important this whole process is and having them see what the MGA does and what it all is about."

The 46th Pro-Am heads to Sunningdale Country Club next year.
