The WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund has announced its scholarship recipients for the 2018-19 academic year.  A total of 73 young men and women joined the class of 2018; a total of 271 students from 65 Westchester area clubs and golf affiliations will receive more than one million dollars in scholarship aid this year.  A full list of 2018 scholarship recipients can be found [here](https://www.caddiescholarship.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/2018-19-Scholars_forWeb_91018.pdf).

Since its inception in 1956, the Fund has awarded more than 2,670 scholars who work in service to golf with $21 million in scholarships.  Service to golf includes caddying, work in the golf shop, bag room, on the practice range, or grounds crew.

An eligible candidate must have served a minimum of two seasons in service to golf at a Westchester Golf Association member club, must demonstrate financial need, and must have applied to attend an institution of higher education for undergraduate study.

Applications for the 2019-20 academic year will be available [here](https://www.caddiescholarship.org/scholarships/application/) by the end of October.
