ELMSFORD, N.Y. (September 2, 2026) – The Metropolitan Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund is proud to announce the Caddie Scholar class of 2026-27.
A total of 64 young men and women across 30 clubs were awarded scholarships as they pursue their education. The newest class of caddie scholars will attend a combined 54 colleges and universities this fall, joining a long list of highly-accomplished MGACSF past recipients. Collectively, the class has an average GPA of 3.7.
"We are thrilled to welcome this newest class into the MGACSF family, which includes 64 new scholars," MGACSF President James Martell said. "It’s an honor to support these deserving young men and women as they begin this next stage of their lives, and we look forward to watching them succeed in college and beyond."
The newest class brings the total number of current scholars to 217 across 55 clubs and 116 colleges and universities.
The MGACSF has awarded more than $28 million in meaningful financial aid to over 3,100 young men and women in its 70 years of existence. Caddies or those working in service to golf at golf courses throughout Fairfield (Conn.), Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester (N.Y.) are eligible for a scholarship.
