The outing brought together a handful of past and present caddie scholars along with supporters of The Fund to network, reconnect, and reflect on their journeys working in golf. All the while, they enjoyed a round of golf together.

Participants competed in gross and net Stableford competitions with the top three finishers receiving prizes. In addition, there were long drive and closest to the pin competitions.

In gross competition, Spencer Dale finished atop the leaderboard with 35 points with Aidan Hicks and Jake Saley right before tallying 34 and 31 points, respectively.

On the net side, Glenroy Cousins came in 1st with 45 points while Jay Lieberman was right behind with 41 points followed by Howard Freilich with 39 points.

Brandon Phillips won the long-drive competition on the 9th hole while John Phillips won the closest to the pin competition on the 5th hole, coming within five and a half feet.

A number of caddie scholars in the field have spent time working at Apawamis, making the outing even more special.

"We were thrilled to have the outing here at Apawamis this year," said Billy Strobel, an MGACSF Board Member, Apawamis member, and Caddie Scholar alum. "We were fortunate to have a beautiful day."

Caddieing for Strobel and his group was Nick Dimitri, a current MGACSF recipient and caddie at Apawamis.

"It was really nice seeing recipients," Dimitri said. "Hopefully one day, I get to be out here and play with them. I love seeing the relationship they have. It was awesome."

The MGACSF thanks The Apawamis Club, all caddie scholar alums, as well as friends and supporters of The Fund for another amazing outing!
