The annual event brings together generations of alums and friends to reminisce, celebrate, and reconnect with other former caddies.

The participants competed in gross and net Stableford competitions. The top three in each received prizes.

In the net, Daniel Meduri won with 44 points. One point behind was Michael Phillips in second, and Eikoh Hayashi was third with 39 points.

In the gross competition, Tim Nevin took top honors with 33 points. One point off the pace was Jake Saley, and one point further back was Anthony Totilo.

Events like this are not possible without the support of the club staff, and the CSF means even more at Ardsley, especially under the guidance of head professional Jim Bender. Bender was a caddie scholar himself in New Jersey, and four of five kids were MGACSF caddie scholars.

“It means a lot,” said Bender on hosting the MGACSF Alumni Reunion. It is a program that keeps giving, and I am delighted to have it here.”

Bender added, “I saw a guy here that caddied here 25 years ago, and I have been here for 43 years as head pro. To see them come back here is great.”

Ardsley is heavily involved with the MGACSF over the years. Rob Bucci, the caddie master at Ardsley, has championed and built the caddie program at the club. Grant Burnett is a former president of the MGACSF. Most importantly the members have been so supportive of the youth caddieing program over the years.

The Apawamis Club will host the 51st edition of the Alumni Reunion next year.
